Kristen Bell Reunites With Veronica Mars Costars Max Greenfield, Enrico Colantoni
Kristen Bell (and her baby bump!) bumped into some old friends while cheering on the Detroit Red Wings when the hockey team played the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center on Wednesday, Feb. 27. Joined her her fiance, Dax Shepard, and spouses Alyssa Milano and David Bugliari, the pregnant 32-year-old reunited with two of her former Veronica Mars costars.
Bell shared a WhoSay picture of herself and Shepard posing with Enrico Colantoni, who played the actress' father during the show's three-season run. "TV dad, meet my baby daddy!" she wrote in a caption. Bell later uploaded a second WhoSay picture featuring Colantoni, 50, and Max Greenfield, 32. "Look who else I found!" she wrote of Greenfield, who played police officer Leo D'Amato on Veronica Mars. "It's a reunion!"
"This was the best surprise!" said Greenfield, who has earned Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations for his role as Schmidt on the FOX comedy New Girl.
Both Bell and Greenfield have been vocal about their desire to bring Veronica Mars back to life. "We're all dying to do a Veronica Mars movie," Bell told E! News in 2012. "I would absolutely be game. We're trying to find creative ways to figure out a Veronica Mars reunion."
Greenfield added, "I'm so into it, it's not even funny. I think it's really possible. . . They can hint toward the story lines from the show, but because [Kristen] is so much older now, they could do a really cool, dark and edgy movie mystery, totally separate from whatever happened in the show."
Bell, who currently stars in Showtime's House of Lies, is expecting her first child with Shepard this spring.
