Art pretty much imitates life for Glee's Lea Michele. Just ask her castmates.

During an appearance on Wednesday's Oprah Winfrey Show, Matthew Morrison responds on his cast's behalf when Winfrey asks which star is most like the high schooler they portray on the Fox series.

"I think Lea is," he tells Winfrey as the cast breaks out into laughter. "I say that because she's a very strong woman and she knows exactly what she wants." (Watch the exclusive clip above)

As for Michele's take her TV goody two-shoes songbird?

"I've been performing on Broadway since I was 8 and I was very much like Rachel when I was younger," the actress, 23, says. "I think she's amazing. She knows who she is and she's proud of that. I'm so honored to play a character like her."

Also during the interview, filmed on a classroom-themed soundstage April 3 at Chicago's Harpo Studios, the Glee cast sang "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Somebody to Love" — marking Cory Monteith's first performances in front of a live audience.
