Erin Andrews: Elisabeth Hasselbeck Made Me Cry

Don't ever get Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the same dance floor.
The Dancing With the Stars pro, 30, has lashed out at The View cohost, 32, after she dissed his partner, Erin Andrews.
On her ABC talk show Tuesday, Hasselbeck criticized Andrews for wearing skimpy outfits on DWTS after a peephole stalker famously posted a nude video of the ESPN reporter, 32 (he is now serving a 2 1/2-year prison term).

Said Hasselbeck: "In light of what happened ... and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room ... I mean, in some way if I [was] him, I [would be] like, 'Man! I just could've waited 12 weeks and seen this -- a little bit less -- without the prison time!'"
Chmerkovskiy quickly fired back: ""I'm the one designing [Andrews'] dresses for the show, so I'll just assume that [Hasselbeck] is jealous... and stupid...."

Pro Louis Van Amstel also defended Andrews, Twittering to Hasselbeck: "Why did u have to throw @erinandrewsespn under the bus this morning? Shame on [you] ... Leave her alone. Aren't u all working for the same network ABC/ESPN???? U should have each other's back, not trashtalk Erin."
Even Evan Lysacek chimed in: "So disappointed that anyone would attack [her] after all she's been through."
Andrews told Access Hollywood she "cried" after hearing the remarks. "I think people can have opinions about the show, but my biggest complaint is she's a woman and a mother and it was a mockery of something I've lived through this last year. ... I felt like it was a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators."

How many more dumb comments does Elisabeth have to make before Barbara finally wises up and FIRES HER!! I love the other three but she wrecks the show.
I just read this item. I'm not shocked that Elizabeth would say such a thing and think it was okay. It sounds like something she would say. How could one even think such a thought much less give a voice to it on nationl TV? Male of Female? A smart woman would never make such an insulting comment in jest. Yes, I watch the show, I like the show. I'm not a conservative, wouldn't want to be; however, I like Megan McCain and other youngish conservative women who like women and are fair to women of differing opinions. I just think Elizabeth has issues with women. People who go on TV and start crying about saying stupid stuff works on my nerves. It would be great if this was an isolated incident, but it's not. Should she lose her job? No, but she might try expanding her "view" just a bit. It's okay to be supportive of women and women's causes...it's okay, really.

I've never thought that Barbara would make her apologized because Rosie was fired for speaking her mind about "The Trump". Elizabeth is just another pretty face who married an athlete...no talent, no knowledge about real issues and loves Palin. She needs to be fired, her opinions are nasty and not factual.

Elisabeth needs to grow up!! She seems to be such a know-it-all on the view. It has taken a tremendous amount of courage for Erin to not only say "OK my life has been Hell but I'm going back to work anyway but, now she says I'm going to really put myself out there and have fun and be Normal and enjoy life and to hell with that creep he's in jail" then some dumb Know-it -all b-*#! has to put her conservative I don't know really need this job anyway FOOT in her mouth and crushes her. Who do you think you are!! And why do you think you are so much better than everyone else. Erin is a hero to so many victims a class act something you couldn't possibly emulate.
Elisabeth was wrong, BUT what about the others on the view they say what they want and get away with stuff. The others are not the brightest light either. People make mistakes. Give it a break

please- if joy or whoopie had made this comment everyone would have laughed and applauded. the fact that people are desperately focusing on this to try to oust elizabeth because of her politics shows how flawless her comments are 99.99% of the time, a feat compared to the many crazy mistakes the other women have made. (ahem: whoopie saying women got the right to vote before black people- elizabeth corrected her, showing at least one person on that panel has been to middle school!!!)
Shame on Elisabeth for making that comment about Erin, just because you are on a talk show doesn't give you the right to hurt someone else's feelings. I'm so glad I don't watch the show, never did care for those four women.
I think Elisabeth is jealous of Erin. My guess is she's heard hubby and other ESPN folk or athletes bring her up on occasion and it probably makes her jealous as hell.
