Elisabeth Hasselbeck

Feisty yet conservative cohost of The View Hasselbeck (born in 1977 in Cranston, R.I.) started her television career in 2001 when she was cast on the reality show Survivor and competed on the show’s season set in Australia.
After finishing in fourth place, the former design student auditioned and became the new cohost for The View in 2003, replacing departing cohost Lisa Ling.
Often getting into on-air confrontations with her liberal cohosts, Hasselbeck has been at the center of many controversies involving former host Rosie O’Donnell, Alicia Silverstone, and current View moderator Whoopi Goldberg.
She’s married to ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck. The couple has three children: Grace, born in 2005, Taylor, born in 2007, and Isaiah, born in 2009.
