Ever since Amy Winehouse dropped her epic second album, "Back To Black," the U.K. seems to be popping out hit female-songwriters that hit stateside like there's no tomorrow. There's been Adele and Estelle and Duffy and V.V. Brown... and now Katie Melua.

Originally hailing from Georgia, the brunette 26-year-old  became that country's bestselling female artist and Europe's highest-selling the same year that Winehouse's disc dropped, and now Melua is breaking America with her fourth effort, the electro-pop infused The House.

She also broke into my office recently to introduce herself and play one of her better ditties, "I'd Love To Kill You." Get to love her like I did by checking out the video (above).
