Miley Cyrus, 17: Dad Billy Ray "Loves" Racy New Music Vid

What does Billy Ray Cyrus think of his 17-year-old daughter Miley's racy new music video -- which features her grinding with guys and cavorting in a $25,000 corset?
"My dad loves it," the former Disney star tells MTV News of the vid for "Can't Be Tamed," which was released last Tuesday.

"I think my dad was thinking I was a little crazy while I was writing it because when you're hearing 'feathers coming out of your hands,' [you think] 'oh wow, looks crazy!'" Miley says.
"They were so proud of the treatment that I came up for it with my good friend Jamal," continues Miley, referring to choreographer Jamal Sims.

In fact, Miley's mom, Tish, "was on set," she says.

This isn't the first time Miley's parents have defended her controversial moves.
After she pole danced at the Teen Choice Awards in 2009, Billy Ray said, "I just think that Miley loves entertaining people... I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they wanna make, and make it in their own voice. I think it's important."

94Ok so people who read this might not know who I am talking about but there's this 18 year old European Pop star named Amy Diamond and she hasn't done what Miley did and she is so popular! I don't get why Miley is doing this for more publicity. She's already got so many fans! What everyone is saying is she doing this to get teen and adult publicity but why? I don't know why but she has lost 1/4th. Of her kid audience but then she does another season of Hannah Montana and she won some back. I am 12 and I am a fan of Miley Cyrus. She is my role model and I love her songs! But I am 12! I don't know if I can watch her videos anymore. It's really breaking my heart.
THIS IS TYPICAL TEENAGE ATTITUDE? What the hell is that? I'm sorry, but 'typical' does not make things right, it just doesn't. I'm fifteen, and I can not see myself doing such indecent things such as that, showing such disrespect to everyone around me and myself. She needs to get a hold of herself and think for a moment and decide what's good for her. I hate to see her like this, I truly do, as a former Miley fan. I liked it when she did her own thing, and had fun, she was cool, but now she's another Brittany defending her outrageous and shameful acts. Why can't she make money as an artist in her own way, instead of becoming MTV's typical? She looks like someone whose just a show so she can get people to like her, for whatever reason that she believes that the jerks opinions matter, but behind the scenes, she cries. To me, that's what she looks like, because I don't think a lot of people could ever handle becoming a mess like that. No, Miley Cyrus, not a unique and expressive mess, but a 'mess' mess that no one wants to clean up or look at. Why can't she become someone great again? If she did, I would most certainly go to one her concerts. She is so capable of making amazing things, and I would really like to see that, and I'm sure if she did, she would be very proud of herself.

Miley has taken a turn for the worst. She'll end up just like Britney and Lindsey. Absolutely devastating to many young girls who looked up to her as a role model. What a disappointment.

I think no matter what outlandish thing she does, she will never escape her Hannah Montana roots. I just read this, and my 3 year old came over. I said, who is that? He said "Hannah Montana!" No matter that she is laying in a seductive pose with a slutty dress on.
I've seen Miley's video. What I saw I was a 17 year old girl acting her age. All her behaviors and "scandals" seem to be typical of a teenage girl (for the most part). I've never been a fan of Miley Cyrus. Personally I thought her video had a Brittany Spears attribute. But let's be honest, who really would want to be Hannah Montana for the rest of your life? Let the girl grow up.

A few days ago somewhere in the USA a 15 year old boy was arrested for having under aged pornography on his phone. How is this video no different. Her parents need to wake up and put a stop to this before something terrible happens.

What on earth is Billy Ray Cyrus doing to his daughters? First he tries to make Noah - who´s only 9 years old - to look like a little w***e and now he says he loves Miley´s outfit in this new music video? I used to like the old Miley who dressed conventionally. Maybe it´s just a phase since she´s practically an adult but not quite. She´s only 17 years old. Hopefully in her next video she will go back into her old style.
Let's look at the family track record. By the time she was 29, Mama Tish had Brandi and Trace by different fathers, was never married. Meanwhile, Billy Ray was married to one woman and had a baby with a second one (his son Cody.) Tish and Billy Ray hooked up and had Miley, marrying afterward. Together they had 2 more kids, daughter Noah, the 11-yr old lingerie model, and son Braison. My favorite part of this whole saga is when Tish starts talking about "We're Christians."
I bet Billy Ray thought it was cute. I think he's a nasty old goat who looks at his daughter wrong. Someone somewhere who can do something SHOULD DO SOMETHING!!!
