On Wednesday’s show, Cyrus will perform her tune "When I Look At You."

Paul McCartney has NEVER mentored on AI or has every had anything to do with the show. How can a publication like this get something so simple so wrong. Just shows the level of their reporting And as far as Miley being a mentor....look how badly the majority of the contestants did under her direction. Not surprising.

the sad thing is that she isn't a great role model.. she is from disney channel which is owned by ABC and they gave $200,000 to a woman that murdered her own child for an interview story.. How bad does this look...

You have GOT to be kidding me! What can a 17yo wanna be who got her start because of her daddy and not her talent mentor the contestants on? Plus her recent statement about being "deeper than most people" just shows how arrogant she really is. I would be completely offended as an Idol contestant. A Disney 17yo is going to tell me what to do in my performance?! Just shows how low Idol has sunk. Paula got out at the right time.

sorry you can't sing, act and haved no talent to be doing idol whih right now is a total waist of time with all the "so call" judges. When Simon leaves you had best leave the air amd as far as ellen she had best go back to her own show which is fantastic

  • March 23, 2010 - 11:35am Reply to Steve

To Steve: I think everyone would DIE listening to Miley sing a cappella. lol That would be the worst sounding screech song in the history of music. Nails on a chalkboard are more appealing to listen to than Manly Cyrus. Seriously.

This is ridiculous. Idol is a joke. So sad they got a girl who's not even 18 yet, not talented. her only claim to fame is having some tweeny bopper show in the disney channel. yet they are having her as a mentor. a job that people like gladys knight, sir paul mcarthy, mariah carey and other music legends in the business. This is hilarious!

I refuse to watch idol this week if she's on there. Wtf will she have to say? She doesn't even sing good. She wouldn't even qualify as a contestant.

  • March 23, 2010 - 1:50am I'm not Recep's girlfriend

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Miley to mentor American Idol contestants????????????? This Bit.ch.'s career is a joke.

After her immature comment that her and her boy toy are "deeper than normal people", I've lost complete respect for her until she apologizes for her pretensious comment.

  • March 23, 2010 - 1:07am ales

    She's never even had a #1 hit!!!

  • March 23, 2010 - 12:08am lena

This is what a ton of money, a ton of mascara and a ton of hair extensions can get you.... and of course, a famous dad. Cannot imagine this girl advising anyone on how to sing, especially the lead female vocalist in the contest.

Great job Miley.. Love you girl.Don't listen to the haters

  • March 22, 2010 - 10:30pm misty

This is what you can do if you have money. Will she ever get tired of loving herself and will we ever get a break from her ego? Maybe when he hits 20 and becomes another tartlet has been. This year, the IDOL has been a joke at the expense of the really talented contestants who deserve better.

At 17 she's a mentor??? Big fat joke!!! She can't act or sing and got famouse because of her father. Plus, she's full of herself. Thinks she's all that and she's not. But youth are not intelligent to know this b/c they go goo goo gaa gaa over her.

  • March 22, 2010 - 9:13pm Alex

is this 4 real??? how the hellis she gonna mentor people if she can't even sing herself. about 90% of those idols can sing better than her!!!! this is a joke

  • March 22, 2010 - 8:37pm Mimi

Miley needs a voice coach to smooth out her dialect. She also needs to find her "voice" in selection of her couture. The dress she wore to the Academy Awards was similar to many outfits worn by Madonna. Bust-te-a-whatever with a skirt! She does not need to dress older than she is.

would someone please mentor MILEY ON POSTURE. STANDUP SHOULDERS BACK, THATS ALL SHE NEEDS.

  • March 22, 2010 - 5:26pm Que

How the hell is she suppose to "mentor" the American Idol Contestants when she can't sing?? Please explain. Why don't you get someone like Janet Jackson, Wycleaf, Barbara Streisand,Celine Dion, Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones..sheesh.

Do you actually pay people to write your articles? Trust me there are competent and educated people out there looking for jobs. Paul McCartney was never a mentor on American Idol and hopefully it will remain that way. As for Miley Cyrus, that is the blind leading the blind. What could she possibly have to offer?
