Mistaken identity? Brooke Von-Weber (Abby Elliott) gets the wrong impression about one of her coworkers in Odd Mom Out's Monday, August 22, episode, as seen in Us Weekly's exclusive sneak peek.

The Bravo scripted comedy's preview clip shows Brooke digging herself into a hole during an event in the Hamptons. "Janice, I'm so glad you could come today," she tells her colleague. "I hope the whole white theme isn't offensive to you. I want you to know, I support 'hashtag Black Lives Matter.' Hashtag OK?"

Finally, Brooke learns that her assumption is a bit off, as Janice is actually white, although it is unclear as to why exactly Brooke initially thought otherwise. "But you identify as black, right?" a bewildered Brooke asks. "Aren't you from Detroit?"

Janice realizes that she got preferential treatment and fires back with, "Now that I think about it, I am retroactively offended. In fact, I have half a mind to call the Southern Poverty Law Center and report that my civil rights have been violated."

When Brooke says that Janice was benefiting, Janice says, "It was 'black me,' not 'white me.' You'll be hearing from white me's lawyers!"

Odd Mom Out, currently airing its second season, centers on Jill Weber (Jill Kargman) raising three kids with husband Andy (Andy Buckley), whose affluent family provides plenty of pressure. Brooke is married to Andy's multimillionaire brother, Lex (Sean Kleier), and the pair have experienced more than their share of marital strife as they raise their brood.
