The 2014 Oscars didn't disappoint! Ellen DeGeneres brought the laughs during her second time hosting the Academy Awards on Sunday, March 2. The comedienne, 56, kicked off the show with a memorable joke about Jennifer Lawrence falling (again!) this year. She also took an epic group selfie with stars in the audience, and threw a pizza party with hungry Oscar nominees.

The 86th annual Academy Awards ceremony was also filled with touching musical performances and speeches by Best Supporting Actress Lupita Nyong'o, Best Supporting Actor Jared Leto, Best Actress Cate Blanchett, Best Actor Matthew McConaughey, and Best Picture winners Brad Pitt and Steve McQueen for 12 Years a Slave.

Alright, alright, alright! Matthew McConaughey beat Leonardo DiCaprio and won the Best Actor award for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. The 44-year-old got emotional while thanking wife Camila Alves and their three children in his acceptance speech.
