Rep Denies Gunfire Broke Out at Beyonce's Concert

Beyonce's rep tells UsMagazine.com that gunfire didn't break out at her Friday concert in Brazil, despite a false internet report.

"The reports of gunfire during Beyonce's concert in Brazil that allegedly ended her show early are totally false," a rep for the singer, 28, tells Us. "Beyonce played to record crowds on her recent tour in Brazil without incident, including an audience of 60,000 in Sao Paulo on Saturday, February 6 and two sold-out shows in Rio on February 7 and 8."

An unsubstantiated Web report claimed that local kids began shooting fans as they left the stadium, and that police fired back.

Beyonce is currently on the South American leg of her 'I AM…' world tour. She'll perform in Santiago, Chile on Sunday, Lima, Peru on Tuesday and Port-of-Spain, Trinidad on Thursday.

I get really upset when I see how people like to make up this histories about Brazil. I'am brazilian e this is not how it is...This is a wonderfull country, with wonderfull people, and I don't know why there's always something bad to say...I went to Beyonce's concert and NOTHING happened, besides fun, and demonstration of how we can partie!! Peacefully!!

BrazilCousin can you tell me what does micheal jackson have to do with shooting in brazil? #1 your lieing because ive talked to people who went to that show and said nothing like that happened. not to mention no one was hurt. if they were shooting outside wouldn't someone be injured? THINK! and the comment beyonce made about the jackson family did not come out of nowhere, she was talking about why she didnt want to play the role of carmen jones. thats what the media is leaving out. the media loooves taking things out of context. so don't get mad at her, your acting like its not true! joe use to whip there behinds!
