Rep: Madonna "Didn't Diss" Lady Gaga

Put your paws down, little monsters: Madonna didn't trash Lady Gaga.
As the superstar, 53, promotes her directorial effort W.E. at the Venice Film Festival, a French magazine claimed she took a shot at her pop heir Gaga, 25.

Madonna was quoted as allegedly sniping: "As for Lady Gaga, I have no comment to make about her obsessions having to do with me because I don't know whether her behavior is rooted in something deep and meaningful, or superficial."
Nuh-uh, Madonna's rep Liz Rosenberg tells Us Weekly. "She didn't diss Gaga."

The "Live to Tell" singer definitely did make a nasty comment about hydrangeas, however. Just before a W.E. press conference in Venice, Madonna received a bouquet of hydrangeas from an adoring male fan, and a video camera caught what happened next.
"I absolutely loathe hydrangeas," the superstar sniffed. "Obviously he didn't know that."

Says the rep: "The hydrangea incident is so ridiculous..It's not like she said she hated warm chocolate chip cookies and milk and little puppies!"

please! gaga is in no way ripping off madonna. im old enough that i know every madonna song, music video and lyric. Just because madonna was in her time a fashion rebel who liked to break rules doesnt mean everyone who has the same sense of fashion who also likes to break rules are copying her. I like to break fashion rules while breaking rules in general but that doesnt mean im mocking the material girl (old lady). thats obsurd, people open some eyes and realize that Gaga has always had her own vision of her image and who she is and whats shes about, no one seriously wants to mock or follow in madonna's has-been shoes. what are you thinking?? thats like saying gaga ripped off marilyn manson tho she has been reocrded as saying he is an inspiration of her music and style. grow up and try to consider that some people, tho may be similiar in some sense arent ripping people off.
She's going to eat (s)hit for that comment. This album is going to flop. Hard Candy barely shipped, SHIPPED not sold, 500K copies in the US. Her fans abandoned her because she decided to pursue the 13-15 year olds of this generation and the ones that held onto her are dieing cause they're all in their 60's-80's. â??She's going down down down a queen with no crown.â?? She just pitted herself against the most fearsome fan base of this generation. Haha never liked her.
