This new family dramedy -- based on the hit 1989 movie -- is so pat and hackneyed, it makes the Walker clan of Brothers & Sisters seem like the Sopranos.
Ready for the by-the-numbers rundown? Lothario bro Crosby (abs-flashing Dax Shepard) gets a paternity shock; single mom Sarah (Lauren Graham, overdoing her cutesiness) gets set up on a disastrous blind date; and earnest family guy Adam (Peter Krause) must deal with a family setback. At least the touching final moments suggest promise. (NBC, 10 P.M.)
