The detective (Robert Downey Jr.) and his testy sidekick, Dr. Watson (Jude Law), bicker entertainingly in Guy Ritchie's overstuffed adventure. Instead of crafting a strong mystery, however, Ritchie (Snatch) falls back on the action-movie cliche's he knows best, offering endless kicks and punches. And the CGI in the finale, in which Sherlock fights a villain over the Thames river, looks too phony. (Warner Home Video, $29)
