‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Finale Recap: Teresa Giudice Calls Jacqueline Laurita a ‘Conniving, Twisted F–king Bitch’

Friends don’t call friends evil to the core, except for in the Garden State. On the season finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Sunday, October 30, tempers flared and friendships burned to the ground. Dolores Catania was still steaming over her argument with Jacqueline Laurita, who was claiming that Dolores had called her from her girls’-night-out event at her gym to make her look like a no-show. “Jacqueline thought I was setting her up to make her look bad that she didn’t show up,” Dolores said to the camera before explaining (again) that she would never do that.

Apparently Jacqueline thought Dolores didn’t need to call her to ask why she wasn’t coming because she already knew why — and therefore, Dolores was just trying to set her up. Kathy Wakile took it upon herself to try to help the situation, asking Dolores if she would consider talking it out with Jacqueline, but Dolores said she was “too angry” over the “unwarranted attack” to discuss it.

Moments later, Teresa Giudice came over to Kathy (who Teresa still wasn’t really speaking to) and Dolores and told them that Jacqueline was “just an evil person.” When Kathy tried to defend Jacqueline, Teresa announced she was walking away and she did.

Melissa Makes Cake From Crumbs

In the midst of the mayhem, Melissa Gorga was trying to piece together her fashion show for her boutique, Envy, without the help of her partner (who didn’t seem to be helping much at all when it really came down to it). As Melissa ran around like a maniac backstage, Richie Wakile struck up a conversation with Joe Gorga, mentioning (not so casually) that they hadn’t seen Teresa in over a year. Joe didn’t really say much in response.

Teresa then found Melissa to complain about how lonely she was now that her husband, Joe Giudice, was gone (because Melissa wasn’t busy or anything). “This is the first event without my husband. It’s been a week. There’s going to be hard days, sad days, but it is just something that we’ve got to do,” Teresa then lamented to the camera.

Once the show got started, it went reasonably well, though Melissa struggled with pacing some of the models. Ultimately, it was declared a success, however, and even her husband (who had been pretty opposed to Melissa running this business all season) admitted he was pleased. “I am extremely proud of what she accomplished tonight. She created a crumb to a cake,” Joe said to the camera with a smile.

At the end of the night, Siggy Flicker invited Melissa to her house for a lunch where Siggy planned to have Melissa, Teresa, Dolores and Jacqueline talk out their problems — because that seemed like a good idea (not).

Teresa Might Sell Her House

While having a heart to heart with her lawyer, Teresa admitted that she was considering putting their enormous house up for sale, arguing she was having a hard time “making ends meet” as a single parent. “I don’t know if I can keep up with it,” she explained before adding that she and Joe had hoped to stay in the house for their daughters’ sake, since uprooting to a new location would only add to their stress, and they had already been through so much.

Ladies Who Lunch

Teresa and Melissa drove together to the lunch, ragging on Jacqueline the whole time. Melissa speculated that Jacqueline was mad that she and Teresa had grown close, and Teresa said, “Maybe that’s why she’s a miserable woman who doesn’t leave her house.”

Siggy arrived before anyone else to warn the security to be on hand in case things got out of control. Jacqueline was the first to arrive and was clearly still under the weather. “I came for you because I know how it feels to be that person in the middle,” she told Siggy. “I took it too far in Vermont and I said horrible things to Teresa and I take accountability for that, but I was very deeply hurt.” She began crying as she added, “But at least I say it to your face. I don’t pretend to be somebody’s friend when I really don’t want to be their friend.”

As for Dolores, however, Jacqueline said she anticipated they would make up right away. As if on cue, Dolores walked in and they promptly made up. Dolores apologized for being “cranky” and calling Jacqueline “a bitch and stuff.”

That’s when Teresa and Melissa arrived, however, and they brought out a very different side of Jacqueline, who immediately demanded to speak to each of them individually while the other was out of the room. Teresa said Jacqueline didn’t call the shots, and Jacqueline snapped back, “I think I am calling the shots today.” It turned out she was wrong.

Teresa said she didn’t feel like Jacqueline was being fair, saying she was acting like she was Teresa’s teacher. “Is bitch better?” Jacqueline asked, prompting Teresa to fling back another obscenity that got too bleeped out to be identified. Melissa tried suggesting that they should all just talk like adults but it was already way too late for that.

“I think you’re an evil person to the core,” Teresa said to Jacqueline. “I think you’re describing yourself,” Jacqueline barked back before insisting Teresa “was scared.”

Teresa then shouted, “You’re evil to the core! That’s why security is here!” She added that Jacqueline was a “conniving, twisted, f–king bitch.” That’s about the time Jacqueline left.

Siggy and Dolores chased after her to try to explain that she had handled things incorrectly, but Jacqueline just sped off. “She’s dead to me,” Teresa declared. “She makes me sick. She makes me want to f–king vomit. … She’s a disgrace.”
