Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliot have been replaced.
On Monday, NBC announced three new hires for the 38th season of Saturday Night Live.
The newcomers hail from the Second City improvisational theaters in Chicago, where many SNL stars first go their start, including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Chris Farley and others.
Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson and Cecily Strong have signed on to join the show as featured performers this fall. Strong has been an understudy for Second City's main stage and E.T.C. stage, Bryant was in the ensemble for the E.T.C. stage, and Robinson performed with the touring company and on the main stage.
Bridesmaids actress Wiig, 39, said goodbye to SNL in May after 7 years on the show. In June, Samberg, 34, revealed would not be returning and Elliott, 25, announced her departure in August.
Season 38 of Saturday Night Live kicks off Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11:30 p.m. ET with host Seth MacFarlane and musical guest Frank Ocean.
