He's not just Jack!

Sean Hayes has been cast as Larry in the Farrelly Brothers' Three Stooges movie, a new take on the classic 1930s comedies. The 40-year-old actor, known best for his role as Jack McFarland on Will & Grace, will go from Broadway's "Promises, Promises" back to the big screen in the upcoming slapstick comedy. His last onscreen work was an appearance in 2007's The Bucket List.

Will Sasso, widely known for his work on MADtv, will play the role of Curly, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The part of Moe is still reportedly up for grabs.

The film, now being produced by Twentieth Century Fox, film will be divided into a not-yet-decided number of roughly half-hour vignettes. When the project was initially set up at MGM in 2009, the Farrellys had Sean Penn in mind for Hayes' new role.
