Video: Spencer Pratt Bans Heidi From Watching TV, Using Internet
Spencer Pratt has "brainwashed" Heidi, the new issue of Us Weekly reports.
In an episode of MTV's The Hills to air Tuesday, he details his control over his wife to pal Kristin Cavallari.

"I don't let her go on TV, no computers," says Spencer, 26. "The only thing Heidi does is read and write poetry and pray and pet puppies... She is logged out of The Matrix."
Adds Heidi, 23, who has glossed-over eyes, "And read books!"

Heidi also explains her obsession with crystals, on which she and Spencer have spent $400,000.
"This one is for geniuses. It opens your mind to everything... and helps you to really think when you're in a war zone," she tells Cavallari. Us Weekly reports the couple have hired 4 former Marines to protect them from snipers near their Los Angeles home. (They most recently turned away Heidi’s worried mom, Darlene.)

Heidi's big sister, Holly, who got into a screaming fight with Spencer on last week's episode, also says she's ready to retaliate against her brother-in-law. "I will kick his little punk ass bitch across time," Holly, 26, says at a club.

Very scary to watch that! Spencer is not right in the head- completely psychotic and we watch it unfold every week. Heidi is in survival mode mentally and will not come out of this well.

I think this is just so sad. If anyone has been following the Hills, Spencer has created drama for Heidi and been controlling her from day one. Her family from day one was so scared of what Spencer may do and now all their fears have come true. This is obviously an emotionally abusive and manipulative relationship and it is a shame watching it unfold. Heidi must have a very weak mind to let this happen to her (although abusive relationships can happen to the best of us) very very sad!

Spencer is a veritable tyrant, and an imperious prick! Heidi needs to flee this toxic relationship. I'm not a fan of hers per se, but she needs to think more highly of herself than to settle for this domineering baboon. Spencer is an ugly, arrogant, pompous piece of s.h.i.t. I wouldn't doubt that he physically and emotionally abuses her behind closed doors. Heidi, you deserve better than this. Get out of this miasma while you still can.
If that's true, between her rock-bottom self-esteem, unhealthy obsession with plastic surgery, his bizarre, controlling behavior, and both of their need for celebrity/notoriety, I see a murder/suicide in their future. Sad.
