Sorry, Chris Lambton: Ali Fedotowsky says her heart belongs to Roberto Martinez!
On Monday's Bachelorette finale, Fedotowsky told Lambton, a 33-year-old contractor from Cape Cod, Mass., that she was in love with Martinez -- just before the two were supposed to go on their final date.

"I'm in such a weird place right now because this is coming to an end...me and my family the other day, they loved you...tomorrow, I'm at a point where....I don't know what to do," Fedotowsky, 25, told Lambton as tears welled up in her eyes. "I feel like you have all the qualities that I want in somebody -- everything! You're one of the best men I've ever been able to meet in my whole life. I mean that."

She continued, "I think that even if two people really enjoy spending time together...I don't know that that necessarily means that it's supposed to be. Do you understand what I'm saying? I'm in love with somebody else. I have to let you go here and not wait until tomorrow. This wasn't an easy decision. It was really hard. I just didn't want to put you through tomorrow because I know that's going to be so hard."

But Martinez -- who popped the question with a dazzling Neil Lane sparkler -- was a hit with Fedotowsky's family during the trip to Bora Bora, Tahiti.
"He just fit right in," Fedotowsky said after Martinez gave her family impromptu salsa lessons. "He was chatting with everyone!"
Throughout the show, Fedotowsky's attraction to the ex-minor league baseball player was evident. Within moments of meeting Martinez, she called him "handsome," a "cutie" and "sexy" -- and rewarded him with a first-impression rose after sharing a steamy salsa dance.

As Us Weekly previously reported, Martinez, a 26-year-old insurance agent from Charleston, S.C., had long been the show's frontrunner -- and the two may have even ran in the same circle of friends prior the show.
"I love Roberto," Fedotowsky gushed on the finale. "I love him. I've never ever in my whole life felt this good in a relationship."

Since choosing to be with Martinez, Fedotowsky says she's learned a lot from her run as the Bachelorette -- even if the relationship doesn't last a lifetime.
"I'm definitley stronger than I've every been. I'm really happy," she told Us in July. "Whether I'm happily engaged or happily single, I'm happy, and I think the greatest gift is realizing what type of guy is right for me."

Tell Us What You Think
92claims that Ali was a hard core party core who used to go on benders and loved kinky sex
how many dudes did ali hook up with?
i think that she made a great decision on choosing roberto because his so cute and he looks like his a really nice guy that will make her happy and i hope they do get married and have a great life together!!!!
I'm really not sure if they are going to last or not. But if she is happy so Be It!!!!!!
I never saw a lot of romance between Ali and Chris. Yes, kissing, but it wasn't romantic or passionate. It was a lot of pecking. He's a great guy and I'm sure he'll get a lot of mail in the days to come. Ali's facial expression when Roberto got out of the limo was a gasp, maybe it was because he's so good looking, but it looked all along like he was THE ONE. Let's hope it works out!
SO HAPPY THAT SHE PICKED ROBERTO!!! LOVE THEM TWO TOGETHER!! CONGRATS!! THESE TWO WILL MAKE IT!
"Linda Eason" same here. My husband and I met 20 years ago and he proposed only a week after we met. And we are still very happy together! I can tell right from wrong and I believe this couple is for real.
What is wrong with me? As if they were my children! I can tell they are so much in love. It is love at first sight! Yes, I'm so happy for them and wish them the best!
I jumped for all joy when Roberto proposed to Allie. I was so nervous for her. I wish them both all the best long life together. I have been watching the show for years now and I enjoyed this one the most because i love this couple. It ended just the way I proposed. Love to you guys!
If you hate the show, think it is stupid, and on and on, why click on the article, read it, and then take the time to comment on it? I don't like Keeping Up With the Kardashians, or Kate Plus Eight, so I don't click on articles about those shows. It's one thing to talk about the show, if you watch it, and discuss what you like and don't about it or the people on it, but why come here with such negativity and ruin it for others? It would make you a happier person not to click on things that make you feel so negative.
Finally! A bachelorette picked a man who showed class and maturity during the season: Roberto Martinez. Good for her. Chris needs time to mature, to grow to be his own man. Now he's fixated on his parents' marriage, mourning his mother, talking much too much. He's needy and would suffocate any woman who gets near him now.
I think it's GROSS that the person being selected slobs down and/or has sex with (depending on what show you watch) all of these different people in a matter of weeks..guess this passes for entertainment nowadays...
What was up with being that attracted to Frank, what was she thinking..ewwww! I wanta know about Chris's dad....he was adorable. And quit hating, if you don't like the show, its ez, don't watch. Cheers to Ali and her happy lips that kissed and drank through the entire series...lol
August 03, 2010 - 10:43am American women... Says:++++++++++ Your comment was completely IGNORANT! Not ALL American women do the things you said and not all think their "worth" is based on those things either! You are judging ALL American women by the way a FEW behave yet you say Americans judge other countries etc.... Personally I DO have morals, and values and I raise my children to have those same morals! You obviously have issues with Americans but you should NOT judge us all by the way a FEW behave!
Lighten up people! I loved the fact that Ali chose to let Chris go before the rose ceremony. Shows how compassionate she is and how much she really did care for his feelings. Even he admired her for that. And as far as lasting, it has just as good a chance as most relationships in America. You guys need to check stats on divorce rates. I actually hope they bet the odds but in all reality I doubt it. If they would move away to a small town away from all the media it may stand a better chance.
Why shouldn't all of us "negative" people be on here? This show is such a load of crap. It's all ridiculous!
So what! It's not going to last anyway! This is all for show! I hate these shows!
I hope that Ali as moved on and that we will be able to see Chris as our next bachelor. Such a sexy voice and right guy to bring home to mama!! Please bring in back to us. Thanks R.MC
are such classless whor**, Ali's just another example. You run around half naked, open your legs up to any man who looks at you twice and think your "worth" is determined on how pretty and/or skinny you are. No wonder your country is in such turmoil, you have the morals and values of dogs but sit back and judge other countries/nations with REAL issues as if you have any moral ground to stand on..
So, another relationship choice based on lust and physicality.... wonder how long the physical nature will last until it fizzles out.... duh!
