Taylor Swift is finally going to have her MTV Video Music Awards moment.
The 20-year-old country darling will take the stage to perform at Sunday's VMAs, one year after Kanye West ambushed her as she accepted the award for Best Female Video.
Surprise addition Swift was spotted rehearsing for the MTV fete Friday evening at L.A.'s Nokia Theater, while West, whose performance was confirmed last month, was in New York City for Fashion Week events.
The pair is not expected to share the stage, despite West's attempts at a mea culpa.
"I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it," West Tweeted earlier this month. "If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her. She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her."
MTV declined to comment on Swift's participation.
