Teen Mom's original cast — Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout — may have wrapped their run in August, but that doesn't mean the franchise is coming to a close.
On Thursday, MTV announced plans for Teen Mom 2's third season to premiere November 12, documenting the lives of Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer.
When the new episodes kick off, Evans deals with incessant legal woes and questions the paternity of her 3-year-old son, Jace. Though Evans met — and moved in with — a new guy named Josh, the new season finds her back with her troublemaker ex, Keiffer Delp. Lowry's love life is also a focus of the upcoming season, as viewers will meet Javi Marroquin, the man who captured her heart in the wake of her cheating scandal.
Houska reunites with her slacker ex, Adam Lind, as the couple moves in together and raise their daughter Aubree as a family — after Lind gives Houska a promise ring.
Messer — who endured a messy split from Cory Simms, the father of her twins Ali and Aleeah, on the last season of Teen Mom 2 — finds a new reason to smile thanks to boyfriend Jeremy Calvert. Complicating things as she navigates her divorce from Simms: Messer is pregnant with Calvert's baby — and they're planning a wedding!
"The third season of this groundbreaking series goes beyond tabloid headlines and inside the emotional journeys of four young mothers as they face some of their biggest challenges yet," teases an MTV press release.
Teen Mom 2's third season premieres November 12 at 10 p.m. (EST) on MTV.
