The superheroes and vampires are back! The CW announced its 2015-2016 lineup on Thursday, May 14, and it includes a couple of scheduling shifts and just one new show debuting in the fall.
Some of the many series to return include Jane the Virgin, The Flash, Arrow, and Supernatural for its 11th(!) season. The Vampire Diaries, meanwhile, will stay in its time slot for season 7 as it continues without leading lady Nina Dobrev. The 100 is also coming back at midseason.
As for the newbies? TVD co-creator Julie Plec is adding yet another show to her resume with the new drama Containment. TVD’s Chris Wood (Kai) stars, going from terrifying witch to badass cop helping contain the citizens affected by a deadline outbreak in Atlanta.
