True Blood Star Dishes on Shocking Sex Twist: "My Jaw Dropped"

Sunday's episode of HBO's True Blood was truly shocking.
Bill (Stephen Moyer) ended up getting it on with his maker Lorena (Mariana Klaveno).
After telling her he'll "never, ever" love her, he threw her down on a bed and had sex with her --- as he twisted her head 180 degrees. The scene cut out with Lorena telling "William" she still loves him.

It "was actually the most shocking thing that I've ever read in a television script," Klaveno says E! News. "My jaw dropped on the floor when I read it and thought, 'Oh my god, I actually have to do that?!"
Shooting "was a little uncomfortable, but we got through it," she says. "I'm working with the best people from the writers to the producers to the other actors and at the end of the day, I'd rather be on a show that's provocative and pushes the envelope than one that doesn't."

Could Bill fall back in love with Lorena (next week's show hints that his girlfriend Sookie [Anna Paquin] hooks up with vamp Eric [Alexander Skarsgard]?
"You see some new dynamics in our relationship, and maybe a little bit more of the past - maybe some changes in our relationship as well," Klaveno teases.
Klaveno says she loves "playing" Lorena because she's "a delicious character."
The only downfall?
"Everybody hates me!" she says. "I'll take it as a compliment. I'm acting! I promise. It's not me in real life, I promise. I'm actually, normally a nice person."

15I thought it was disturbing then starting laughing. It was not necessary. We got that Bill hates Lorena with his words and ripping her clothes off while he brutally drinks and has sex with her. The twisted part was just stupid. Let Bill stay with Lorena forever. The relationship of Eric and Sookie and it's slow burn is fabulous!
I've read the series and last night's episode wasn't much of a shocker since a similar situation occurred in the third book. It is necessary to the storyline, especially in the developing relationship of Eric and Sookie and the touchy one of Bill and Sookie. The books are better, but the show is still fantastic in its own medium.

LOVED last nights episode!! and yes, the "head turner" was pretty shocking. But nothing beats Eric naked ;)
If this season turns out to be anything like the corresponding book, and a lot of it has, you are all gonna want to keep watching! I love True Blood! Im loving this season. Best season yet.

SOOO HAPPY that TB is being renewed for a 4th season! It is one of the best shows on HBO right now!
So far, season 3 is WAY better than season 2. I loved the Godric/FOTS storylines of season 2 but the Mary Ann parts were were drawn out way too long. LOVE the season 3 storylines so far...we're getting to see more Eric so I'm all for it!!
I thought the scene was fake but the crazy noise and moans made it real. BUT A BIG FAKER..BOTH PPL HAD THEIR PANT AND PANTIES ON
Never seen this show, don't have HBO. But I probably wouldn't watch anymore, I don't like shows like this
I just started season 2 on dvd and am dissappointed! Season 1 was so good, but i've heard from others that season 3 isn't good either. just like weeds, started out strong, but couldn't keep up the pace. Can't all be like 'lost' I guess! bummer.
I used to love this show, but this season I find it lacking in content. Instead of a good story line, they seem to be exploiting the sexual aspects and turning the show into soft core porn. Very disappointing.
I thought that scene was not art, just junk. It adds nothing to the episode and is just plain ugliness and desperation to provide excitement. It was really revolting and disappointing. I like the finer acting like sexual tension between two people attracted to each other.
The scene was about Bill trying to gain back any power he could over Lorena. He told her "You won" a couple of times, and he has totally given up. It was a way to regain a little power and she because she is so pathetically in love with him, she will take anything she can get. The twisting head thing was to show that he can't even stand to look at her.
I do have to say- that scene last night was a little too much and really didn't add anything to the story.
