Burt and Verona (John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph) road-trip through Arizona, Wisconsin, Montreal and Florida searching for a new home — and preparing mentally to become parents — in this emotional but uneven comedy from director Sam Mendes. The high point? The couple's encounter with a New Age mother (Maggie Gyllenhaal) who hates strollers and sleeps in one big, groovy bed with her hubby and kids. (Focus Features, $30)
