Woody Allen's latest features Evan Rachel Wood as a runaway from Mississippi in NYC who marries a suicidal former physics professor (Larry David). While their icky romance (in real life, she's 22 and he's 62!) plays out predictably, Allen's script offers some laughs and moving moments. But only Patricia Clarkson (as Wood’s Southern belle mom) offers a memorable performance. (Sony Pictures, $28)
