American Idol, you've got some serious competition!
Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5's Adam Levine will advise a new crop of wannabe singers on NBC's The Voice.
Aguilera, 30, is excited to lend her talents to the new series.
"I'm actually revealing a lot about myself during this show -- a side of myself that I think a lot of people have never seen before, that only my closest friends see when the cameras go off," Aguilera tells Us Weekly. "I just wanted to approach this show very openly. I'm human, too, and people make mistakes and go through things in life and I'm definitely taking that into the show."
Like Idol, NBC's Tuesday night singing competition has starry-eyed hopefuls, a voting audience and big names doling out advice. Instead of judging, the star mentor the contestants. "We want to make them shine!" Aguilera enthuses.
Check out a sneak peek of the new series above ahead of its premiere April 26 at 9 p.m. (EST) on NBC.
