The NBC morning program, now the fifth-longest-running TV series ever, celebrated its 60th year on the air on Jan. 13, 2012. In celebration of the milestone, the show's current hosts gathered at the Empire State Building, which was lit up in Today's orange, yellow, and red colors. They were joined on set the next morning by former hosts including Katie Couric, Deborah Norville, Tom Brokaw, Jane Pauley, and Barbara Walters for a special anniversary episode, complete with cake and champagne.
