Find Out Who Won America's Next Top Model!

Thursday – November 19, 2009 – 12:19pm

Colorado student Nicole Fox is America's Next Top Model!

The 18-year-old beat out Laura Kirkpatrick for the title, making her the show's first model under 5'7 to take the top spot. For her efforts, Fox earned a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, a contract with Whilhemina Models and a cover and six-page spread in Seventeen magazine.

"I'm a dork and I'm America's next top model!" Fox, who filmed a CoverGirl commercial shoot, her Seventeen cover and walked in a runway show before being proclaimed the winner by host Tyra Banks, said. "You are a star," Banks told her. "You have it."

Check out Tyra's Halloween costume!

"This journey was incredibly hard," the winning model says. "I learned to embarrass myself and sometimes I didn't think I was going to survive the journey."

Model's cycle 13 was the first time in the show's six year run that models under 5'7 were invited to compete. Though initial auditions in cities like New York resulted in such a turnout that the session had to be shut down after models were trampled, show judge Nigel Barker was happy with how the season turned out.

Find out which ANTM judge just revealed they're a parent!

"[Having petite models on the show] represents a market that's rarely shown on television," Barker told Usmagazine.com at a VH1 Save the Music holiday event in New York City.

"There are petite divisions -- Wilhelmina has one -- but we've never recognized them on Top Model. "The show's often been about giving girls a chance in the modeling industry that otherwise wouldn't," he continued. "From small towns where people don't usually go around scouting for girls, it's just a dream for them that may never come true. [Top Model proves] they don't all have to be 6'4."

I haven't watched this show in a long time. It's gotten tired and Tyra more annoying. Another thing that got bothersome about the show was the lack of ever producing a model that was a "top model" here in the US. If you combine all of that you really don't have a good show. I will say though that this girl is very pretty, but let's see if this one will make it to "top model" status either.

I really feel the top model judges made a mistake this season in chosing Nicole as the winner. Although both girls were pretty, Laura was also beautiful, had an amazing personality, and i'm sure will be inspirational to others with dyslexia. She was a small town girl with big city dreams, how could you not love her...an "all american girl". My hope for her is that all of dreams come true, and some agent signs her to thier agency. GOOD LUCK LAURA!!! My 8 yr old son, husband and I are all rooting for u!!

This Nicole is an exact replica of the OTHER Nicole with long curly hair who won a few cycles ago...

Laura has the necessary personality to bring to stage. Nicole does not. I wish them both well. Laura has to remember she is a model even w/o camera. Nicole has the magnatism of a door knob but carries herself like a model on & off camera. I was cheering for Laura and sorry she did not win because she is more versatile in looks and presentation & basically more deserving & nice.

I really enjoyed this season of antm, the final two were the ones I thought would be there, but I am disappointed in who won, I know Nicole had the high model look but Laura had the everyday Seventeen model look which is what ANTM is all about isnt it. You could tell the panel really liked Laura over Nicole but you can see they are not really looking at the overall picture, fans preferred Laura and I feel she was the TOP MODEL for this season, I dont know if I will watch another.....when you gave title to big figured contestant a few seasons back I really thought this show was going with real beauties and talent not just skinny dull girls. I dont think personality wise Nicole is model material.......very dull........very disappointed with whole show this season........Best of Luck to Laura.........
