Update: Madonna's Rep Denies Reports of Adoption

"I can confirm Madonna is in Malawi on a private visit," the singer's publicist Liz Rosenberg said when contacted by Us Weekly. "She is building an orphanage and child care center and is involved in other initiatives geared toward helping children orphaned by Aids thru the Raising Malawi organization. She has not adopted a baby despite reports that she has."
 
Earlier today, Reuters reported that the singer adopted a 1-year-old baby boy from the African nation of Malawi. The Associated Press also reports that Madonna is considering adoption.

I would never let her near my kids. She is evil. I am sure the stories of her kids as they grow up are going to shock us because of her evil influence in their lives.

She shelters them from the "evils" of the world... she doesnt let them watch tv, or have sugar and all that.. yet she loves to parade in front of the entire world and THEIR children her awful sexual contents in her concerts, books, songs... its ok for OUR kids to have awful influences as long as it fills HER pocketbook. Has HER kids seen her awful books, photos and concerts? have THEY listend to her FILTHY mouth?

I can't stand her. She WONT influence my kids. EVER.

And this is breaking news because.......? The woman's marriage is rocky, at best. If she does decide to adopt, it'll be just another poor child being brought into a home with no solid foundation. These celebrities have to STOP this nonsense. It seems like once one of them gets pregnant, they all get pregnant, and when one adopts a child, others follow. Just like that silly trend of walking around with a ratty-looking dog in your arms!

A bunch of people reported this with the usual disclaimer "Madonna's rep did not immediately return calls" blah blah. Yeah cause calling a number, leaving a message, and printing the story right away is confirming it.

Anywhoo, if she does good for her. I see not a damn thing wrong with it. She appears to have found a stable and happy family, albeit extended. Some have an issue with her age, but that's their own hang up IMHO. And kudos to the work she is doing. Very needed.
