Nick sounded sincere in his interview this morning. I'd say he's telling the truth.

Timber - I expected replies like that! :o) Actually, I have been a fan from the beginning, the VERY beginning!! And - when Nick was young - I thought he was the biggest PUNK in the world. During the making of "Everybody" he was cussing on the set and just acting like a terd ... he was a kid still!! Well, when he got older - I started paying a little more attention to him and found him to be my favorite! He's had his share of mistakes .... but he's really a good person! I guess it's easier for someone who reads everything they can on someone to see it! If you think about it - how often do they put the "feel good" stories in the media?

All I know is that he is a has-been and an ugly one!!!!!!!!

I know that a lot of you people don't like Nick Carter - I'm not here to try and change your mind. Just hear me out. He only talked about this in an interview - it's not like he ran through the streets saying "I hooked up with Ashlee Simpson" to get attention. He is being interviewed more now than he has been in a while because of his new show. He never talks about his relationships when he is in them, so we wouldn't have known about this when it happened. He is honest about relationships, when asked, though. He has no reason to lie about this now. As for Ashlee, who I also like ... think about this. She has an extremely controlling father. Her career is doing very well right now and Nick's, unfortunately, isn't doing so well. Can't you see her father demanding she deny this? With her being in "Chicago" and doing well in the "tabloids", and with Nick's reality show currently running of his dysfunctional family - I'm sure Joe flipped out and told her to deny it from all angles if she didn't want to spiral downward again. It makes sense.

Okay - my little "plug" for Nick. I know I said I wasn't going to try and change your minds. But, I have to say this ... Don't discount him just yet. He isn't perfect - but at least he admits when he messes up. He became famous at a very young age and didn't have the best guidance from his parents!! He's a good person, he just hasn't made the best decisions. Have all of us made the right decisions always? I know I haven't - but I don't have people just waiting to write every little thing I do - and when I say "writing" - we all know that doesn't always involve the truth 100%. I wish he'd never dated Paris. It seems that is when his demise began. But, it was his choice and I think he truly loved her. Just give him a chance. Watch his show and see how much he cares about his siblings. Watch and see how he truly wears his heart on his sleeve. He's a good guy - try and let all of the negative thoughts go. How would any of us turned out if we'd become famous at 13 ... with absolutely no guidance?? He IS trying to rise above his parents, just give him a chance!!!
