For one Love Is Blind season 11 couple, their pod bond collapsed before reaching the altar.
This post contains spoilers for Love Is Blind season 11.
During the Boston cast’s post-pod meetup, Michaella Giorgio quickly realized that her engagement to Rob Feeley was over.
“I just, like, don’t deserve any of what I’m getting,” Michaella, 33, tearfully told Erika Ellis in the bathroom after Rob’s outburst moments earlier, in which he claimed he would be “canceled” for his interactions with a pod ex. “I feel like he hates me. I love him, and it’s just a lot. We’re not getting married.”
She continued, “I cannot marry this man. Under any circumstances, I cannot marry him at this point. … I’ll be OK.”
Leaving the bathroom, Michaella informed Rob, 38, of her decision on their future.
“Listen, as I said before, I’m gonna love you forever, but obviously, not gonna work out,” she stated, noting they clearly weren’t a match. “Fine, it’s OK. I’m not gonna … We’re good. I’m gonna go home.”

Michaella and Rob connected — and got engaged sight unseen — in the season 11 pods, which was filmed in 2025 and began airing on Netflix the next year. After the now-exes returned to Boston together, the fashion executive met Rob’s local friends. At one point, she overheard Rob implore producers to “cut the cameras” when his pal was barred from ordering another cocktail.
Michaella later claimed in a confession that Rob was “coming after me” off camera, alleging that she joined the show for the wrong reasons. (She shot down the accusations.)
“My family started to get anxiety and, as soon as they start getting anxiety, all that pressure [falls on me],” Rob said in a confessional, stressing the dating experiment felt overwhelming. “Everything was going so fast, and I wasn’t completely 1,000 percent sure. I think I have more things going on than some people might have going on.”
Rob blamed his mindset on a myriad of challenging circumstances, including grieving the deaths of his father and two of his close friends, losing his job and ending a previous engagement.
“There’s been a lot of pain in my life in the last year and a half,” he acknowledged to producers. “That’s life, though. You just gotta go on. … I think that all pain and trauma that I’ve gone through, I just keep it to myself. For me, that’s what a man has to do sometimes.”
Rob concluded, “You have to be strong for your family, strong for people. I feel like part of this experiment wasn’t indicative of who I am and, of course, I’m sad. I feel like I let Michaella down, I might have let her family down and I let her down, but sometimes you just gotta be strong for your family.”
Love Is Blind season 11 is now streaming on Netflix. New episodes drop weekly on Wednesdays.
