The mother of Aleph, 5, with husband Benjamin Millepied, wore a black wool crepe Dior midi-length dress with a deep scoop neckline. She teamed the number with a pair of simple black pumps. But for a dose of color, Portman, 35, wore a pair of shoulder-grazing green emerald-colored earrings made of beads and glittery diamond accents.

Ever since Us Weekly exclusively broke the news of Portman’s pregnancy in September, the Oscar winner has hit red carpets all around the world in gorgeous designer gear. The Dior brand ambassador debuted her baby bump (and rubbed it too) in a white one-shouldered gown with a floor-sweeping cape by the brand at the Planetarium premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 8. And a few weeks later, she sat in the front row at Dior’s Paris Fashion Week show in a black overcoat with corset sleeves, an embellished frock and two-tone ankle-strap sandals.

Her happiness was apparent in a July interview with T magazine, during which she talked about the joys of motherhood. “I think being a mother made me realize how maternal the role of director is,” she said. “It made me much calmer under stress because there’s that weird parent thing you develop, that when things get really bad, your voice gets calm and your blood pressure slows and you can make everything OK again. And things get bad and stressful easily on films.”
