Let the outside in!
When Kate Middleton walks down the aisle in London's Westminster Abbey on Friday, she will be surrounded by an avenue of trees!
New photos reveal the ongoing transformation of Middleton and Prince William's wedding chapel; London's Telegraph reports that six English field maples and two hornbeams have been transported inside the massive church.
The Abbey will also be decorated with native flowers grown on royal estates.
Some of those flowers include Solomon's seal (brought over from royal estate Sandringham), azaleas (the Chinese symbol of femininity), lilacs (which symbolize first love), blossoms, rhododendrons, euphorbias and wisteria.
What will become of those trees after Middleton, 29, and William, 28, tie the knot? They will be planted at Prince Charles' Highgrove estate to commemorate the historic wedding day.
The Abbey was abuzz on Wednesday morning for a wedding dress rehearsal — but the bride and groom weren't in attendance.
Instead, uniformed members of the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force showed up in the wee hours to march the royal procession (horses and all!) leading up to the chapel.
A few of the rehearsal participants were a tad jumpy: The horses! Observers tell Us that few of the steeds trotted in the wrong direction as the group approached Parliament Square. Still, not to worry: A policeman was overheard saying the horses are "too well-trained" to mess up the big day.
