Adam Rippon sat on Gus Kenworthy’s shoulders as the close-knit duo celebrated two weeks of hard work in PyeongChang, South Korea. Kenworthy took to Instagram during the Closing Ceremony to reflect on his bond with Rippon in a funny post. “Two weeks ago, at opening ceremonies, we met and a friendship began. Today, at closing ceremonies, it ends,” he teased. “Adam, please stop calling me. You’re honestly starting to get v clingy and I can’t anymore.”
Tonga flag bearer Pita Taufatofua grinned as he strolled through the event shirtless, as he did during the Opening Ceremony. The cross-country skier attained viral notoriety at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where he competed in Taekwondo.
