Warmer weather means rosé season, as well as the age-old problem of keeping the wine properly chilled. There’s the old-fashioned method of simply plopping a few ice cubes in the glass, but wine purists are going to need a wine cooler — no, not the drink — the home accessory. An ice cube in the glass will eventually melt and water down the drink. A wine cooler, on the other hand, will keep the bottle chilled on the table while the wine-drinker sits back and enjoys the sunshine and it looks very classy.
As with any home good, wine chillers come in a variety of styles and qualities. The best wine chillers look great with the rest of the décor in the home and are well-insulated to keep the rosé (or any wine or liquor bottle that should be served cold) well chilled and protected from the heat.
