Coolest third wheel ever?
New dad Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce enjoyed an extra-special date night Tuesday evening — during which they got to hang out with none other than President Barack Obama himself.
The two superstars hosted a campaign fundraiser at Jay-Z's 40/40 club in NYC for Obama supporters to meet with the President (tickets cost $40,000 per head!)
The "I Was Here" singer, 30, looking radiant in red and with blonde bombshell hair, introduced the guest of honor.
"I can't tell you how proud we are to host tonight's event with President Obama," Beyonce said. "We believe in his vision."
During his speech, Obama, 51, joked that wife First Lady Michelle Obama and their girls Sasha, 11, and Malia, 14, were "mad at me because they aren't here."
"To J and B, thank you so much for your friendship," Obama told the couple. "Beyonce could not be a better role model for my girls."
Obama also pointed out that he and 42-year-old rapper Jay-Z — who welcomed his first child with Beyonce, daughter Blue Ivy, in January 2012 — have a lot in common. "We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are," he said. "So, you know, we've got a little bond there. It's hard but it's okay."
