Goldilocks be gone! Holly Madison has ditched her blonde hairstyle for a sexier, new red ‘do. The Bourbon Burlesque producer reveals in Us Weekly‘s new issue why she decided to go bolder, and how her 12-month-old daughter Rainbow reacted to her famous mom’s makeover.
“I’m tired of looking the same,” Madison, 34, tells Us exclusively on why she went dark. “People judge you on your appearance. It’s frustrating when you go about your daily life and people assume that just because you look the same way you did 10 years ago, you’re the same.”
Indeed, Madison first broke out (as a blonde beauty) in Hollywood by starring in the reality series The Girls Next Door with ex Hugh Hefner in 2005. “I want people to judge me for what I’m like now,” she added.
The former Playboy model isn’t the only one liking her new burgundy hair color, either. “Oh, he loves it,” she says of her husband of nearly six months, Pasquale Rotella. “I look better with dark hair — and way younger!”
As for the couple’s baby girl? “[She] was a little surprised when I walked in,” the reality star said. “She was open-mouthed, and immediately reached out to touch my hair.”
