Shine bright like a diamond! Hollywood’s hottest stars lit up the red carpet at the 2014 Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Celebration in New York City on Thursday, April 10.
Held at the city’s Guggenheim Museum, the annual event showcases the brand’s new specialty jewels. The féte brought out famous faces including Jessica Biel, Katie Holmes, and Kate Bosworth.
Biel turned heads in a sexy Oscar de la Renta gown. Cinched at the waist, the black dress featured a plunging halter neckline and a front slit up the thigh. Mrs. Justin Timberlake, 32, accessorized the gown with a Tiffany diamond drop necklace, black-and-white clutch purse, and black pointy-toe pumps. The dress was originally featured in Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2014 runway collection.
The Playing for Keeps actress, who told Us Weekly she prefers “feminine shapes,” offered up some style tips at the event. “I think you can never go wrong with a pencil skirt,” she told Us exclusively. “You can never go wrong with a fitted blouse or a great blazer, and a pair of cigarette jeans and a heel. Keep it simple. I think if you stay simple and you have a muted palette of colors you’re working with, that can always stay classic. White t-shirts, stuff that you can wear together all the time, you can mix and match.”
Holmes, 35, tried on vintage-inspired Balenciaga for the bash, keeping it simple with minimal accessories. The single mother to Suri Cruise wore her hair back, offsetting the black-and-white sleeveless mini dress with Tiffany & Co. bracelets and a ring, as well as black heels. The look showcased Holmes’ major style rule, telling Us Weekly exclusively, “I think highlight your favorite items. So if you’re wearing beautiful Tiffany’s jewelry go with a simple dress.”
Bosworth went super glam, giving off an old Hollywood vibe in a Katie Ermilio gown. The fashion plate, 31, wore the pale pink Fall 2014 number with a delicate Tiffany & Co. necklace and earrings, adding a diamond bracelet and a mirrored clutch.
