American Horror Story's Dalton Gray experienced some real-life horror recently when he was badly injured in a car accident. According to TMZ, the AHS: Freak Show actor was a passenger in a friend's vehicle when an alleged drunk driver hit them in Katy, Texas, on Saturday, April 18.
Gray, 17, reportedly suffered trauma to his hip, pelvis, femur, and face. TMZ reports that doctors also had to remove glass from his right eye, but that his vision is expected to recover.
The actor himself — who played Master Mike on Freak Show — shared some photos of his injuries via Twitter this week, along with his gratitude for the well-wishes from fans. "All I can say is.. Thank you all so much for the support," he wrote on April 20. "Y'all are helping me get threw this. Words can not express the love I'm feeling."
Some of that love came from fellow AHS actor Major Dodson, who tweeted about Gray's accident this week and visited him in the hospital. "My buddy @daltongray00 was hit by a drunk driver this AM," Dodson wrote over the weekend. "He is fighting and needs all our prayers."
Per Gray's Twitter feed, he left the hospital on April 21 but still has several stitches. "I haven't looked at my face yet, but I feel like chucky," he quipped earlier this week, later sharing a photo of himself with the caption "SexC selfie."
"This is what happened to my face," he wrote alongside a second post, this time including a video. "If you ask me..It's an improvement."
