Some people get an ice cream cake for their birthday — Kanye West gets an ice cream week. The “Bound 2” rapper turned 38 on Monday, June 8, and to celebrate, New York-based ice cream parlor Morgenstern’s made all of his sweetest dreams come true with six days of Yeezy-themed treats.
The shop teamed up with First We Feast on the project, which honors Ye’s meme-worthy love of frozen desserts. “Kanye West is famously known for not smiling,” a post on First We Feast’s website reads. “But there’s one thing that will consistently put a grin on his face: ice cream.”
With that in mind, the First We Feast people worked to transform Morgenstern’s into what they’re calling “Kanye’s Beautiful But Darkly Lit Ice Cream Parlor.” The menu includes such flavors as “Red October Raspberry” and “All Day Vanilla,” plus a couple of drool-inducing specials.
The “Kim K. Thirst Trap Sundae,” for example, includes two scoops of sesame caramel ice cream with champagne caramel sauce and whipped cream, while the “I Am a God Ice Cream Croissantwich” features vanilla ice cream inside an Arcade Bakery croissant.
Even the sizes and toppings are Yeezy-inspired. Want two scoops with sprinkles? Order a “Watch the Cone” with “Swish” on top. Three scoops? An “All Falls Down,” please. And if you’re feeling really hungry, try an “Imma Let You Finish” (super-size) or a “Bowl Digger” (sundae).
