No "Bad Blood" here! Long before sparks flew between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, the Scottish DJ was hot and heavy with another pop star: British singer Rita Ora. The two parted ways amicably in 2014, but later clashed over the song "I Will Never Let You Down," which they'd worked on together before the breakup.
Now that Harris is dating Swift, though, Ora, 24, is trying to rise above all the drama. Asked about her ex's new relationship with the "Style" hitmaker during an interview with the UK's Evening Standard, the Fifty Shades of Grey actress replied, "I'm a girl's girl. I'm not going to have that first instinct of jealousy vibe."
Pressed for more about her split from Harris, Ora said, "It was a period of my life that I will value forever. But some things are just not meant to be. I don't want to make this just about him. Musically, it was an amazing experiment and let's just leave it at that."
She did say she "would rather it had been private." But she accepts that her life is public. "I'm not private and nor is my job," she told the Standard.
Ora also touched briefly on another ex, Rob Kardashian, whom she dated several years ago. When they split in 2012, he accused her of cheating on him with "20 dudes" — one of whom, Us Weekly revealed, was Jonah Hill. These days, though, Ora has nothing but nice things to say about the Kardashians.
"I am a huge fan of their whole franchise," she told the Evening Standard.
