Get well soon! Dancing With the Stars pro Gleb Savchenko is suffering from the flu, a source confirms to Us Weekly, which may impact his ability to compete at the finals with Jana Kramer on Monday, November 21.
“One of us has the flu😷…well maybe two of us @glebsavchenkoofficial,” Kramer, 32, captioned a photo she on Instagram on Saturday, November 19. “Excuse me while I go vitamin C overdose.”
In the image, Savchenko, 33, dons a medical mask and stands with his hands crossed in front of him as Kramer gives a slight smile in the mirror selfie.
A few hours later, it was the country singer who was wearing the mask, posing in a studio next to DWTS pro Alan Bersten. “Im being quarantined with @alanbersten. Please feel better @glebsavchenkoofficial #flu.”
Savchenko was previously sidelined earlier this month after the Russian dancer suffered a knee injury. “Doctors have advised Gleb to rest his knee,” a rep for Dancing told Us in a statement on November 4. “In the meantime, he is helping Jana as she continues to rehearse for Monday’s show.”
Kramer will face off against fellow finalists Laurie Hernandez, James Hinchcliffe and Calvin Johnson Jr. for the mirror ball trophy Monday, and then may potentially need to learn an entirely new dance in just 24 hours for the season finale Monday.
The dancing pro has not addressed his health issue on social media, though his last post to Instagram showed him and Kramer determinedly in pursuit of victory.
“#TeamGlamer has their eye on the big prize!” the retweeted caption reads. “Only four more days until we see who earned our Season 23 Mirrorball Trophy! 😱🏆 #Finals.”
