Motherhood looks good on you, girl! Janet Jackson says she feels elated about her pregnancy, a source tells Us Weekly.
“Janet is superexcited. She’s doing great,” the insider tells Us. “Janet feels really strong and is just so excited for the baby to come. She feels like this is one of the best things ever to happen to her, she says.”
Jackson, 50, revealed in May that she’s going to be a first-time mom with husband Wissam Al Mana.
“She’s really excited to become a mom,” the source adds.
Earlier this week, the “Unbreakable” singer, who has stayed out of the limelight since announcing her pregnancy, stepped out for a shopping trip in London to buy some baby furniture. An onlooker told Entertainment Tonight that the mom-to-be arrived with her bodyguard, assistant and two friends.
The store shut down for Jackson’s private 45-minute visit, during which she sat down at a table with the staff to go over their products. Among the items she checked out was a stroller, an eyewitness told the news outlet.
As Us previously reported, Jackson has been “on bed rest” per her doctors’ orders, even keeping a low profile on social media.
Jackson’s older brother Jermaine Jackson previously told Us that he knows his younger sister will be a natural at parenting. “I’m proud to be an uncle, and I can’t wait to see how this baby is going to look,” he said. “She’ll be a great mother, because she is very tough, very strict.”
The Grammy winner and business magnate Al Mana quietly married in 2012, but didn’t confirm the news until the following year.
