She might not have her eldest son, Rocco, with her, but Madonna is trying to make the most of her time in Australia with her youngest kids, taking time out to interact with the unique wildlife.
The Material Girl shared photographs of her two kids, David and Mercy, both 10, via Instagram on Thursday, March 17, which showed them cuddling koalas and feeding kangaroos.
"Mercy makes a new friend!," the 57-year-old performer captioned the first pic of her daughter with a cute baby kangaroo. "We love Australia!"
The second photo shows a delighted David holding a koala bear in his arms.
"Love at first sight!!" Madonna wrote.
It's been evident that the mom of four has been missing her eldest son, Rocco, 15, on this antipodean leg of her Rebel Heart tour — with the Grammy-winning artist being reduced to tears on stage at times.
The teenager currently remains in London with his dad, Guy Ritchie, amid a custody battle between his parents.
During a sold-out show in New Zealand on March 4, she held back the tears as she told the audience: “That is my son, who I mentioned earlier. He is actually 15, and it’s true, there is no love stronger than a mother for her son.”
“If I talk about him too much, I might cry,” she added, as her fans cheered her on in support.
