Always in her heart. Madonna honored the late David Bowie during her Rebel Heart tour on Tuesday, January 12. The Queen of Pop, 57, rocked out in front of two blown-up photos of the icon while performing his classic “Rebel Rebel” at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
The artwork featured throwback pics of the “Space Oddity” singer, who died on Sunday, January 10, at age 69, after a long battle with liver cancer.
“Paying Tribute to My Favorite Rebel. In Houston!! Thank you!……….David Bowie. #rebelheartour,” Madonna captioned a Twitter photo after the show on Wednesday.

She added in a second: “Rebel Rebel You tore your dress…………..Rebel Rebel how could they know?? #rebelheartour.”
Madonna, along with many more stars, paid tribute to Bowie following the news of his death. Madonna posted several photos of the icon and his wife, supermodel Iman.
“Im Devastated! This great Artist changed my life! First concert i ever saw in Detroit! R.IP,” Madonna wrote via Instagram on Monday. “Talented . Unique. Genius. Game Changer. The Man who Fell to Earth. Your Spirit Lives on Forever! So lucky to have met you!!!! Hot Tramp I love you So!”

Bowie is survived by Iman and their daughter, Alexandria, 15. He also had son Duncan, 44, with his ex-wife, Angie Bowie.
