Aubrey O’Day was born on Feb. 11, 1984 in San Francisco, Calif. As a child, she performed in a number of regional theater productions and gathered awards for her acting and singing.
In 2005, Sean “Diddy” Combs chose O’Day for a spot on Making the Band 3. Diddy assembled the group, later known as Danity Kane, around O’Day with four other members (Aundrea Fimbres, Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex and D. Woods). Nearly four years later, the hip-hop mogul kicked O’day and D. Woods out of the group. In 2013, the group reunited without D. Woods but only a year later, another fight led to a second split. In August 2018, Richard, Bex and O’Day revealed they’re heading a reunion tour.
O’Day made her Broadway debut in 2008 in Hairspray as Amber Von Tussle.
Charity work became a passion for O’Day after participating in a Semester at Sea. She worked with many service organizations, but grew closest to children suffering from AIDS. She even created her own group, Fight AIDS Now (FAN), to fight for children infected with the disease.
She has also done a great deal of reality TV, including All About Audrey, Celebrity Apprentice and Famously Single. After appearing on Famously Single she dated Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D, but the two split in 2017 after about a year together. In 2018, Us Weekly also confirmed that Donald Trump Jr. had an affair with O’Day while she was on Celebrity Apprentice. The affair went on from the end of 2011 until March 2012.
