Ed Swiderski
Ed Swiderski is a technology executive and reality TV personality best known for winning season 5 of The Bachelorette. Swiderski spent his childhood in Monroe, Michigan, where he attended Erie-Mason High School before enrolling at Michigan State University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in information technology management and went on to pursue work in the tech industry.
Before becoming a reality TV star, Swiderski built a career in technology, working for companies including Microsoft and later cofounding the digital marketing agency Kambio Group. His rise to fame came in 2009 when he competed on ABC’s The Bachelorette, starring Jillian Harris. After briefly leaving the competition because of work obligations, he returned and ultimately received Harris’ final rose. The pair got engaged during the season finale, making Swiderski the winner of the franchise’s fifth season.
Following his reality TV success, Swiderski remained in the public eye with appearances on shows like The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Entertainment Tonight and season 3 of Bachelor Pad.
Swiderski and Harris ended their engagement in 2010 after roughly one year together. He later began dating television news anchor Natalie Bomke, and the couple married in July 2015. They welcomed their first child, daughter Olive, in 2020. In 2026, they welcomed a son, Axel.
