Model Garcelle Beauvais was born November 26th, 1966 in Saint-Marc, Haiti. She moved to Miami from Massachusetts at the age of 16 to pursue modeling. Beauvais soon became a high fashion model, walking the runway for Isaac Mizrahi and Calvin Klein, and doing catalog ads for Nordstrom, Avon, and Neiman Marcus.

Beauvais also acted in several TV shows and films, appearing in Coming to America, The Jamie Foxx Show, and NYPD Blue. In 2020, the model joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a main cast member. She also co-hosted talk show The Real for its 2020 season.

The Haiti native was married to producer Daniel Saunders, with whom she had sone Oliver in 1991. The couple divorced, and Beauvais went on to marry talent agent Mike Nilon. They were together from 2001 to 2010, and had twin sons, Jax and Jaid in 2007.
