Sofia Richie

Sofia Richie was born on August 24, 1998, to singer Lionel Richie and his second wife, Diane Alexander. Her adopted sister is Nicole Richie, while Michael Jackson was her godfather.

Sofia dabbled in music as a child but adjusted her career path to modeling when she landed her first gig with Teen Vogue at age 14. She has been featured in ads for Chanel, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger and other brands as well as appeared in Elle, Vanity Fair and Billboard.

She began dating boyfriend Scott Disick, who is 15 years older than her, in September 2017. Her father expressed concern over Sofia’s relationship in October 2017 when he told Us Weekly he was “scared to death” about her romance.

The pair split briefly in June 2018 when Sofia discovered Disick cheated on her and got close to another woman. They reconciled days later, and Us exclusively confirmed in July 2018 that she was moving in with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.

Sofia and Disick called it quits again in May 2020 after the E! personality’s brief stint in a rehab facility to treat past traumas. Two months later, the duo rekindled their romance, but Us confirmed in August 2020 that Sofia and Disick had permanently broken up.

Sofia also briefly dated Justin Bieber from August 2016 to September of that year.
