She’s still got it! Angela Bassett is feeling the love on her 60th birthday after posting a jaw-dropping bikini picture on Monday, August 16.
“SWEAR you are aging backwards!” wrote on fan in the Instagram comments section. Added another: “Please upload your eating and beauty routine… you are amazing.
In the photo, her rock hard abs and toned arms are on full display. As the Bassett admirers were quick to point out, the 9-1-1 actress is the definition of body goals.
“I think it’s a frame of mind,” the American Horror Story alum told Us Weekly recently. “I see a trainer. If I was really religious about it, I’d go every day, but I try to do what I know: Eat right, move right, think right, do right.”
This isn’t the first time Bassett has showed skin on Instagram. The birthday girl, who shares 12-year-old twins Bronwyn and Slater Josiah with her actor husband, Courtney B. Vance, was inundated with compliments back in May when she posed in a skimpy cut-out suit.
“I was just soaking up a beautiful location under a gorgeous sky with wonderful friends,” she told Us at a LadyLike Foundation event in June. “I felt good from the inside out and I just wanted to capture it. Feeling good starts from the inside.”
While Bassett was more than happy to dish on how she gets her glow, she couldn’t help but brag about Bronwyn, who is entering seventh grade. “She’s playing piano. She loves lacrosse. She’s getting A’s,” the proud mom gushed. “Whatever she decides to put her hand and heart to, I’ll be pleased. As long as she’s passionate about it.”
