Rock that teeny bikini! Celebrity trainer Danny Musico, who has worked with superstars Jessica Simpson, Demi Moore and Tobey Maguire, shares his fitness tips and tricks with Us Weekly for getting rock-hard abs this summer.
To get beach-ready, Musico suggests performing 15 repetitions of each move, three times a day, every day.
Lie down on the floor with legs fully extended and arms to the side of your body. Lift legs to a 90-degree angle; this will be the starting position. Take a deep breath and move your legs toward your torso as you roll your pelvis back; your hips should be coming off the ground and your knees touching your chest. Hold for one second, then slowly release legs back to the starting position while exhaling.
Lie flat on your back with legs fully extended and arms extended straight above your head; this will be the starting position. Begin raising your legs and arms to meet in a jackknife position. Arms should remain extended and mirror your legs. Your upper torso should be off of the floor. Slowly lower your arms and legs back to the starting position.
Mountain Climb Twist:
Begin lying face down on the floor. Place your hands directly under your chest shoulder-length apart and straighten your arms to lift your upper body. Be certain your legs are stretched out and lined up with the rest of your body. Stretch out your left leg for stability and bend your right knee bringing it up to your right hand. Return your right leg to the starting position and repeat with your left leg.
